I have one in 280 Rem, a good shooter, too. Now as I get older, it seems my interests have changed to the older cartridges. Also am looking for a Ruger Bisley in 45 Colt. Blue with adjustable sights and a shorter bbl.

Modern presure guns, and loads have made these into something the designers would have never dreamed possible.

It's a 2" barreled .357 with a shrouded hammer. I was going back and forth with a 4" or a 2" gun and decided I could get more time in with a gun that I could easily conceal. This is part of the new Taurus CIA line. CIA in this case stands for carry it anywhere. I got a pretty good price on it from my local dealer, $279.00. The dealer I use is A.F.Boyer, he is third generation in this gun store and has been in business since 1868. While I was in his store, three guys were waiting for an instant background check. In walked two policemen. They approached the younger of the three men and asked if his name was ________. He answered in the affirmative, whereupon the police asked him to turn around and place his hands behind his back. He had a warrant out for him on charges of failing to appear in court, in response to a drug charge. I guess the instant background check pointed out where they could find him. When they patted him down they found more drugs a knife, and a set of brass knuckles. What a loser.
