LSWC 3.0 grAlliant Promo Unknown SP guest
I find Promo to be cleaner than Red Dot. This load is based on a Star HBWC Special Match Bullet and is primed by a Rem. SP primer. Start at 2.8 grs. and work up to 3.0 max. This is a excellent load.

Great little 25yrd target round. The bullet is home grown lead bevel based wadd cutter. I believe it is one of the old lymann series. Just watch the BE when you are throwing this small a charge. DO NOT DOUBLE CHARGE ONE OF THESE LITTLE GEMS.

This load was given to me by Sonny Koch of Somar Ent. in Muskego Wi. and it is known as Sonnys load in my load book ,he and his son Tim have been very helpful to me and this load is in there Honor. It is based on a Star Special Match Lead HBWC and a WSP primer and is the most accurate load of its type I have shot.Load flush and put a med crimp on it and you have Sonnys load.

SNUB-NOSE PRACTICE LOAD. The bullets I use are actually 148 grain button-nose wadcutters. The IMR 800X fills the case well. I load these by hand--with a Classic Lee Loader--the one where you pound with a mallet! Velocity is unknown, but a more experienced friend estimates between 640 to 670fps out of a 2-inch barrel. ("Your mileage may vary.")

I do not have any data on the velocity yet but i’m working on getting a crony. if anybody has the velocity and fps and cup I could really use it. Thanks Ted

This load is based on a 148gr. LHBWC using a Rem.SP primer. I find this to be very accurate and mild. Shooting it out of a S&W model 14-2 ,4 inch barrel and a S&W model 15-3, 6 inch barrel.

This is a very accurate bullseye load using a HBWC seated flush.
