Very nice full power round for a .45 Auto. Bullet is Hornady 230gr Truncated FMJ. 100% feed & eject. My Kimber and Springfield (both with custom fit tight bushings)will group into 1 inch at 30 yards. I recommed an 18lbs Wolff spring and Shockbuff.

For those of us who have S&W 25-2 or other .45 ACP revolver and might want to hunt with them or carry where critters that bite might be found.

Got this one from Paco Kelly. Donít have COAL but he has pressure tested it at 26,500psi and 635 ft. lbs. muzzle energy. He absolutely says do not use it without "Heavy" springs and I would add a shock buff. Absolutely to be used in modern manufacture steel frames only.

Remington nickel +P brass, Oregon trails 255(253.8 actual weight/average)bullet, taper crimped behind driving band, using Ranch products moon clips in a 625-8 S&W.

Oregon Trails Laser Cast seated in the crimp groove. MV clocked out of a 5" Mod 625-4. This isn’t too far off of the traditional Keith load.

Full power deer hunting load. Use a 20lbs Wolff spring and shockbuff to protect your frame. Shoots right thru an empty 55 gal drum from 80 yards away. Works very well on deer too. A Keith SWC .45 of same weight works well also when seated even with the front band.

Starting load 5.0 grs. Maximum Load. Fired in Colt 1911 with 24 lb. spring and recoil buffer. Use new or once fired brass. Can be used in S&W 625/25 in 45 ACP or Auto Rim brass. Be sure to monitor pressure signs.
