Years ago when my son was about 7 I developed this load for him. I was looking for something that wouldnít kick to bad. To my continued surprize this load drops whitetails better then anything Iíve ever seen. He is grow now and is still useing the same load. It is also very accurate. Last year on opening morning I heard my son shoot. I called him on the walkie and he told me he had kill a nice eight point. He said "I dropped him in his tracks". Iíve been killing deer for 40 years and used almost every caliber. Iíve never seen anything that will compair to this load if shots are to be kept under 150 yards. After years of killing deer I have found nothing better the the 7mm-08, if your hunting in timber. It is a killing machine.

Accurate and a great deer load. I’m using Nosler 140 gr. Ballistic Tips. Hodgdon lists this as a max. load.
